그림은 `창조성'을 빼놓고 말할 수 없다. 창조는 생각만으론 나타낼 수 없으며 구체적으로 표현해 주어야만 확연해 진다. 여기서 본인의 창조는 여러번의 시행착오를 거친 `실험정신'에서 발현된다. 이러한 실험정신이야 말로 작업이 `매너리즘'(mannerrism)에 빠지지 않도록 지탱해주는 요인이며,작품활동을 지속시켜주는 활력소이다. 실험(모험)의 흔적이 바로 작품으로 응집되어 본인의 의도를 전달해주는 훌륭한 매개체로 남게되는 것이다.

This experimental mind is the main factor to support lest the artists fall into mannerism, and it is the energy to keep them doing their artworks.
